About the Bainbridge, Georgia Convention and Visitors Bureau

The Bainbridge Convention and Visitors Bureau is located at the intersection of Hwy 27 and Hwy 84 in Bainbridge. The CVB is fully staffed Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. assisting travelers visiting, or passing through, Southwest Georgia. The friendly staff invites you to stop by and let us show you what we have to off here in Bainbridge and Decatur County.

Information and Visitor Guides: To assist out-of-town guests, the CVB will provide you with reasonable quantities of Bainbridge Visitor Guides which includes information on lodging, attractions, restaurants and other areas of interest. City maps are also available upon request.
Visitor Bags: We respectfully request 15 days notice if you are requesting Visitor Bags. Complementary Visitor Bags including a Bainbridge Visitors Guide and one souvenir from Bainbridge. Please refer to our Services Request Form for available items. Hotel nights must be booked to receive Visitor Bags.
Facility Rental and Catering: A list of facilities that can accommodate your reunion, meeting, convention or sporting event will be given to you, as well as a list of our area caterers.
Hotel Accommodations: The Bainbridge CVB Will send out a price bid for your group to area hotels. A list of hotel accommodations will also be provided for your group.
Event Calendar: A calendar of events is posted on our website, www.visitbainbridgega.com, which is available for you to post your event or find out what is going on in the area.
Welcome Services: Upon request, the Bainbridge CVB can provide a welcome letter for your special event signed by our mayor and/or city officials.
SUMMER TIME - Let's get our swim on! The Aquatic Center is located at 601 Potter Street. Beginning Friday, May 24th the Aquatic Center will be open daily from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Family Nights are Thursday with hours from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. For group rates and private parties call Leisure Services at 248-2010 or 248-2013.
$ 1 Swim Days - Aquatic Park
The Bainbridge Aquatic Center located at 601 Potter Street is holding $1 SWIM DAYS this summer on the following days: Memorial Day (May 27), June 2, Father's Day (June 16), July 7, August 11, and Labor Day (September 2). Everyone gains entry to the Aquatic Center for only $1 all day long! Operating hours are daily 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Slip, Slide & Serve Tennis Camp
For ages 5 - 12, includes tennis instruction, games and activities. Session 1 begins on June 10 - 13, Session 2 begins June 17 - 20, Session 3 - will be from July 8 - 11. Camps are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. For further details call the Tennis Center at 248-2020 or register online at www.bainbridgetennis.com.
Aquatic Center - Swimming Lessons
Everyone needs to know how to swim! Now is your chance....Session 1: June 3 - 14, Session 2: June 17 - 28, Session 3: July 8 - 19. Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon. $35.00 per session. Ages range from 2 - 17. Advanced registration is required. Space is limited to 30 children per session. Jack Wingate Outdoor Summer Camp
Monday, June 17 until Friday, June 21, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. For ages 7 - 12 at $125 per child. Campers will be involved in an outdoor classroom, boater and water safety, archery, native American history, gun safety classes, fishing, environmental awareness and much more! It will be an action packed week of adventure and fun. To register, please contact Bainbridge CVB or City Hall. Family Night At The Aquatic Center
Thursday nights are family nights at the Aquatic Center! Children 10 and under get in free (from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.) with a parent or guardian. Limit, three children per adult. For more details contact the Aquatic Center at 248-2013.
Cheerleading Clinic
Beginning Tuesday, July 17 until Thursday, July 18 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Bainbridge Memorial Coliseum on Wheat Street. For ages Pre-K to 5th Grade. Cost $40.00 each. Instructors will be Bainbridge High School Cheerleaders and they will be selling bows and t-shirts at the clinic for $20.00.
