About the Bainbridge, Georgia Convention and Visitors Bureau

The Bainbridge Convention and Visitors Bureau is located at the intersection of Hwy 27 and Hwy 84 in Bainbridge. The CVB is fully staffed Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. assisting travelers visiting, or passing through, Southwest Georgia. The friendly staff invites you to stop by and let us show you what we have to off here in Bainbridge and Decatur County.
The Bainbridge Convention & Visitors Bureau would like to assist you in planning your event and finding the perfect meeting space, hotel, shopping, attractions and catering. For further information, visit www.visitbainbridgega.com or call 229-243-8555.
Information and Visitor Guides: To assist out-of-town guests, the CVB will provide you with reasonable quantities of Bainbridge Visitor Guides which includes information on lodging, attractions, restaurants and other areas of interest. City maps are also available upon request.
Visitor Bags: We respectfully request 15 days notice if you are requesting Visitor Bags. Complementary Visitor Bags including a Bainbridge Visitors Guide and one souvenir from Bainbridge. Please refer to our Services Request Form for available items. Hotel nights must be booked to receive Visitor Bags.
Facility Rental and Catering: A list of facilities that can accommodate your reunion, meeting, convention or sporting event will be given to you, as well as a list of our area caterers.
Hotel Accommodations: The Bainbridge CVB Will send out a price bid for your group to area hotels. A list of hotel accommodations will also be provided for your group.
Event Calendar: A calendar of events is posted on our website, www.visitbainbridgega.com, which is available for you to post your event or find out what is going on in the area.
Welcome Services: Upon request, the Bainbridge CVB can provide a welcome letter for your special event signed by our mayor and/or city officials.
Thursday, October 31,4:30 p.m,in the downtown Willis Park, there will be a costume contest,games,hayrides, and kids can "Trick or Treat" downtown merchants.

Holiday Open House
Sunday, Nov. 24 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Head to downtown Bainbridge for Holiday Open House. Downtown merchants will offer great deals to kick off the holiday shopping season. Local artist Mary Barber Cox will be in Willis Park signing this year's Christmas ornaments.
Christmas on the River
On Thursday, Dec. 5, Earle May Boat Basin is the place to be! From 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., join the fun for the lighting of the community Christmas tree, singing at the Performing Arts Center, marshmallow roasts, hay rides, and hot cocoa! It is a night filled with lights and songs, family and fun... and of course a visit from Santa!!

Christmas on the Square
Thursday, Dec. 19 from 5 p.m. -7 p.m.
Join us in Willis Park and let Christmas on the Square put you in the holiday spirit! There will be hayrides, hot cocoa, marshmallow roasts and singing by chiors. Downtown stores will be open for last-minute shopping. It is a night filled with memories to be made! Come enjoy the magic and small town tradition at its best.
